On Hydrating properly, our faulty thirst mechanism, and Dr Batman’s book

These days, here in CA, we have had a major heat wave. I have seen friends complain about headaches. Much of it is due to being dehydrated.
Out thirst mechanism, is somewhat faulty. We need to drink more than our thirst indicates. The clichés is 50% of our bodyweight in pounds, drink in ounces of water (a 200lbs person needs to drink 100 ounces of water per day). That is a good rule of thumb.
I talked about the book “Your Body’s Many Cries For Water” by Dr. Batmanghelidj, who was treating people in an Iranian prison and had nothing to use but water, with amazing results.
Bottom line: drink up (water that is).
